Get Artsy with Refugee Kids!

Description: Kateri Park is an affordable housing community, located just south of Powell on 28th Avenue. In more than half of our apartments, the residents are refugees. The largest group is from Somalia, but we also have some Burmese and Nepali refugee families.
On Friday afternoons 3-5pm we organize an art class for 20 of our kids. They work on individual and collective art projects like drawing, cut outs, and collages.We need some awesome volunteers to come and add your creativity and assistance to the class.

Dar Lekbira Ophanage Drive
AEWW is accepting/collecting clothing (NEW only) donations for the orphanage Dar Lekbira in Kenitra, Morocco. The following is a list of suggested items that the orphanage is in dire need of.
Suggestion:
Age 3-18 (Boys and Girls)
Baby clothes, socks, under wears, legging, pajamas, light sweaters, T-shirts and jeans.
Pencils,pens..etc
Linens
Toiletries,rash cream
Anything light & easily transportable will be accepted.
Deadline for this donation is March 31. The donations will be delivered to Dar Lekbira in Kenitra, Morocco April/May. If you are interested in donating please contact: avahidy@aeww.org
